Guidelines
We bend enough rules—
So please follow these for everyones safety.
-
RIDE YOUR OWN RIDE. Ride within your limits. It's not a race, rather an experience to grow and learn.
-
On multiple lane roads ride staggered and on single lane roads the width of the lane is yours.
-
This is why we ride 2 seconds or more behind the person in front of us. this helps give us a comfortable spacing to react and not feel pressured.
-
More spirited riders closer to the front.
-
Always wait for the rider behind you at a turn of an intersection. Make sure you are visible to the rider behind you before you disappear into the next road.
-
Please use turn signals or hand gestures.
-
Proper maintenance of your bike is important. For your safety and the safety of club members please make sure the bike is in proper running condition.
-
No passing riders. Unless waved through or at a stop.
-
In an emergency call the ride leader if you are unable to signal the group.
-
Respect the law. We do not run red lights. We will wait for you. At 4 way stops if a car signals us to pass please continue with the group (if no cops). =)
-
Do not ride under the influence. We ride at a spirited pace and need full concentration.
-
If you plan to leave early please notify ride leader at riders meeting or pit stop.
